In-salon protocol
A) Standalone post-shampoo treatment
Cleanse with a service-appropriate shampoo; rinse thoroughly.
Towel-dry to medium damp.
Section hair into 4.
Apply Smart Plex from mid-lengths to ends, then a small amount near roots (~20–40 g per head, adjusted to length/density).
Comb through with a wide-tooth comb for even coverage.
Process 5–10 minutes (optional low heat per salon protocol).
Rinse with lukewarm water until texture is fully gone. Apply heat protectant and blow-dry.
B) After color/lightening
Rinse out color or powder lightener completely.
